As we approach the end of 2026, NOWA is preparing new activities to strengthen the visibility, professional development and participation of women across the aquaculture sector.

In the coming months, we aim to:

• Launch a new webinar programme, bringing together experts from across the aquaculture sector to share knowledge, experiences and career insights with our community.
• Develop a dedicated career opportunities platform, bringing together jobs, internships and other professional opportunities in aquaculture, in collaboration with specialized actors and partners from across the sector.
• Strengthen NOWA's presence at key aquaculture events, enabling us to represent the network, build new partnerships and ensure women's voices and expertise are visible in important sector discussions.
• Develop communication and visibility initiatives to showcase women working across aquaculture, their expertise, achievements and career paths.
• Grow initiatives such as the SheSpeaksBlue Expert Directory, helping increase the visibility of women experts and connect them with speaking, media and professional opportunities.
• Develop new projects and partnerships that support networking, knowledge sharing, professional development and women's participation and leadership in aquaculture.
